Nikoloz Kutateladze - Installation My Feet

Project "My Feet" by artist Nika Qutateladze, was created as part of the "Pedestrian Art Project" 2014, implemented by pedestrian-rights NGO "Iare Pekhit" (WALK). The project is a response to careless decisions in regard of public areas. Project opened on July 5, 2014 in the student area in front of the Tbilisi State University Building XI. 72 hand-sculpted feet were presented by a title "My Feet", which if metaphorically translated into Georgian, means "I don't care". The dual project concept highlighted the attitude of the municipality towards the uncared for and later unlawfully sold student area, and reminded the students of their rights and responsibilities, their two feet, which they own for mobility and advancement.
